I have this on LP and CD. Makes we really think of departing with the CD-version aaarghhh. Musicwise quiet nice, vocalswise, well, aehm..., not very good.

I think it is necessary to buy from each underground band at least 5 copies of each release, wait some years and then sell them again... what some folks pay for music is just insane.

My opinion of this album is on the archives for all to see, but to a serious collector the music is of lesser importance.

the first link was a bootleg, the new one is the original. And like my copy without any of the two possible inserts (some copies had two, some had one, some had none).

I paid the Ved Buens Ende - Written in waters double LP 100$ two years ago. I would never pay that much for a CD. Maybe a vinyl, but not a CD.

I guess this one would also go through the roof, if the seller would accept bids from outside Germany.

That Devastation CD could be bought by their singer not so long ago for few dollars, too bad that I was too late for it ...

My "record" is 110 EUR for original ADX - Suprematie / La Terreur CD. Mr. Fils du Metal sold another one at Keep it True X for 250 EUR ... still cheap concerning the prices used to be 500-600 EUR before the bootleg :)

But for the rest, I spend up to 50€ at most for my highest wants - the only two exceptions togethere with that ADX were Laaz Rockit's Holiday in Cambodia and Razor'e Evil Invaders on price killers ... and Easier to Lie, which I bought for a friend of mine and paid almost 4 times as much as I did for my copy, but he gave me a good trade ... ;)

I had sold in the last 2 months 2 Detente price killers for 200 USD. I still have one in my own collection. I never spend that much for a CD, but I will pay for some items more than 60 - 70 US dollars.

I paid once 80 pounds for an original Toxik shirt.

Other rarities:

Razor pricekiller 80 Euro's
Violence – eternal Nightmare 50 us
Holy Terror - Terror and submission + OBI 40 US. I never have seen this CD on E-bay. I really liked to know how much worth this CD is.

I was the 2nd highest bidder on that Target auction - I kicked myself later, as it was originally offered for $229 as buy it now ...

same with INC CD, I was the 2nd highest bidder there too. That was the first official (not Greek identical bootleg) copy on ebay.com in about two years I believe (I maybe missed some, of course) - and that one went for $370+ ... :) Not a newcomer at all :)

I guess I'm a little too late for this one? It used to be $75-$115 or so recently, but after wikking put a copy on ebay for $200, here's how it looks now:

You have bad luck Bostjan. I had that original INC cd a few weeks ago for sale. I sold it for 45 Euro's.

Last week I paid $110 US for Mutiilation's Evil - The Gestalt of Abominations. I rationalized paying that much because some expensive car repairs were covered under warranty.

Today I found out they weren't covered under warranty.

Still, I did better than the guy who outbid me on a different auction--he ended up paying something like $150.

I also paid around $50 for a CD of Hirilorn's Legends of Evil and Eternal Death. I keep asking myself what the hell is wrong with me.

hehe, yeah it's annoying, for example I was bidding on three different Exodus - BBB (Combat Japan) copies in the past month or so, and I was outbidded on all three by thallos, in the very last seconds. None went higher than $50-$60, but he then re-list them at $99.99 (at least he did so the last time). Same with Blind Illusion, I'm trying to get another copy, but I was outbidded 2-3 times recently by him as well.

It's annoying, but I've got nothing against him, after all, it's somewhat of his job / hobby, and he has to invest a lot of money and time in it, and on the other hand there's too many cool stuff on ebay, and he can't bid on everything :) Other dealers have to buy their stuff too, but they just have, for example, many used shops around. He's not the only one buying stuff on ebay and then sell it on his own for more money anyhow, except that the others (some that I know) are re-selling outside the ebay.

If this is about Intruder: I wanted to bid at one one ebay, which ended at $55 (100% original, the seller gave me the matrix and it was the same as invocator2k's (coma2k)), but a friend of mine told me not to bid 'cause he's gonna sell me his copy ... so that was actually before you got yours .. ;)

Razor for $200, apparently all the old rarities are getting back to the very expensive waters, Detente and this one used to be $100 awhile ago ... I'm hoping that it doesn't get back to $500 before I get my Detente :)

the 1987-Posercorpse LP and the 1993-DSP LP were always on black vinyl. This re-press in gold is a bootleg. If I remember correctly, from Mexico. There is an inofficial Mayhem site on the web, which also has all the bootlegs listed. Have a look there, maybe it is listed there as well.

I bought Morbid Saint's Spectrum of Death for $80 off eBay about two years ago. This was the 2005 Keltic Records reissue on CD (which came paired with their Destruction System demo).

From what I've heard, there's literally thousands of used stores in Japan.

I've got the original versions of Merciless "The Awakening" and Abruptum "Obscuritatem Advoco Amplectére Me" on Deathlike Silence Productions. I don't have plans to sell them but sometimes I do wonder how much they'd go for these days on ebay.

... or just find a Japanese trader instead :) I was trading with a Japanese guy from whom I got original Deathblow, Overkill's Fuck You, some early japanese Anthrax pressings etc., in a trade for some local CDs (well, honestly I've traded him the 2nd Turbo CD, which is one of the hardest to find Slovenian metal CDs (I'd say together with Obscurity / In a Spleen the rarest / most coveted), but I only paid about $10 for it ....) Unfortunately I haven't heard from him in a long time.

Here's your chance to buy the greatest heavy metal collection ever, hurry up hehehe :)

I wouldn't pay more than about $20-30 for a single release. Here is one of the most expensive things I have seen go on ebay.
